Abigail Colby's Work Basket

Design by Primitive Traditions includes round or oval basket. Models stitched on 40ct Luna Linen using Crescent Belle Soie (Fawn(2), Cinnamon Stick(2), Espresso(3), Baguette). DMC conversions given. Abigail's Nantucket-style work basket is topped with a cover stitched entirely with the delightful traditional Quaker motifs. Inside the basket are six accessories - a thread pocket, a 3" measure, a scissors pocket, a needle pocket, a pin log, and a scissors fob - also created with Quaker medallion designs. A chart of an extract sampler is included for an optional method of finishing the underside of the top lid. There is a cartouche on the inside bottom for recording personal information and a weighted fob hangs from the edge of the lid and holds the lid closed - a total of 10 designs complete this beautiful kit.
